Wibbly Wobbly Timey Wimey

Recently Alex and I started watching the 2005 Doctor Who – although we started in season 5 (2010) with Matt Smith (!!!!).
We….I’ve become somewhat enamored and geeking out over anything TARDIS or Doctor related. So, today, I decided to take Alex’s suggestion and paint something Who-ish. I wanted to show the TARDIS in an in-between state, so I allowed the paint to drip unevenly and added swirls around it to depict having just left or entered traveling and the TARDIS beginning to establish it’s form. All I can hear in my head is the parking break being left on. 😉

Life
I listed some art cards on etsy today so I can trade, and also, because I thought it would be fun. I’ve also joined a team that started organizing a promotion system that I’m really excited about.
I also spent much of the afternoon cleaning and re-organizing my office. I moved my art stuff back in there and got my easel set up (learning to paint standing up, it is actually helpful). I emptied a box holding junk and organized the junk and put it away so now Tonks has a little box to sit inside that he likes. He actually likes to sit under anything. Then I put up a bunch of my watercolors that I had laying around and the ones that aren’t taped to the wall are in my portfolio.

Food
Alex and I have been enjoying the new grocery store that expanded and reopened. Yesterday we got some fresh buns and made hamburgers for dinner tonight. They were really tasty. We’re also addicted to Izze (sparkling juice they sell at starbucks) turns out it’s actually healthy for you.
