  • Watercolor on the West Coast #8

I made another 6×6 inspired by two jokes from last night when we were hanging out. A fish named invoice, and one of the guys with a drink holder hat and a blue tooth headset on simultaneously…

  • Watercolor on the West Coast #7

Alex bought me an artist’s model this afternoon, so I made the last card in my set using it.

  • Watercolor on the West Coast #4

Today I finished the last two art cards that I had previously marked out, and then decided to try another 6×6. On the art cards, I finished the two color idea  using blue and yellow – I also, unintentionally used that (for the most part) on the 6×6.

  • Watercolor on the West Coast #3

I did some more art cards today – The last two, I decided to challenge myself and use two colors (and white when needed). So I went with red and yellow and blue and red and just played with different ways of mixing.

  • Watercolor on the West Coast #2

This morning I decided to work on some smaller pictures and ended up creating 8 art cards before going back to sleep for another hour or so. I didn’t really plan what I was doing, I just wanted to have a variety of cards that sort of represent the different kinds of paintings that I…

  • Pain in the Shadows

She’s an amicable creature from a hostile country. She’s a dainty fairy and can’t survive on her own, yet full of a strength that few can muster. Her past full of hurt and crimes, she carries the world on her shoulders, but you wouldn’t know unless she showed you her pain hidden in the shadows. (or…

  • Serenity

    Serenity

For Christmas I got a wonderful easel, new acrylic paints, and 5(!!!) 16×20 canvasses. When we got home yesterday – after Alex had his fill of playing with his nerf gun – I decided to try it out (love it!). I didn’t really have any thoughts on it, I was just sort of painting and…
