Watercolor on the West Coast #1

Yesterday we were driving through Oregon and went from the mountains to the desert. I’ve never been to the desert so my reaction was a mix of “Wow!” and “how weird!” Lots of brown and relatively solitary trees. The sky was stunning even with the heavy rain. So I decided as we drove through that my first daily painting would just be my interpretation of the view.
