Yesterday, I finally got some brushes – a spotter and two rounds of varying sizes. I LOVE THEM. Ran out of watercolor paper and the bookstore didn’t have what I needed in stock, so I made three ACEO’s while listening to Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. I made a FACE without
So I have this great idea for an art card – a snow at night painting, with a fairy holding a lantern. But it’s too cold, grey, and dark outside for me to paint it (read: I’m too cold and tired). I also have another idea for my last 16×20 canvas…but again with the being

I sent in an application to be in an art show in April, and decided to go with my fairies if I get in. So today, I thought it would be fun to make a time-lapse-ish video of what it looks like for me to paint a fairy on an Art Card. I’m right handed
Alex bought me an artist’s model this afternoon, so I made the last card in my set using it.
I just did 3 more cards this morning, but I had fun. I did them on the desk in my room instead of the kitchen because I thought a change of scenery would be interesting.
Today I finished the last two art cards that I had previously marked out, and then decided to try another 6×6. On the art cards, I finished the two color idea using blue and yellow – I also, unintentionally used that (for the most part) on the 6×6.
I did some more art cards today – The last two, I decided to challenge myself and use two colors (and white when needed). So I went with red and yellow and blue and red and just played with different ways of mixing.
