  • Watercolor on the West Coast #9 and #10

    Yesterday, I woke up feeling sort of bad and didn’t end up doing anything, so this morning (still sickish) I made two pieces. The first, for yesterday, I just drew in my notebook, and the second is inspired by a friend. 🙂 Hopefully we’ll all get over whatever we’re coming down with quickly.

  • Art on the West Coast (#6)

    Today we went to the slopes and some of the people in our group skied, and Alex and I went tubing. Needless to say, I didn’t do any watercolors, but I did manage to get my daily dose of art in while I was warming up and watching the snowboarders come down the mountain. Turns

    I just did 3 more cards this morning, but I had fun. I did them on the desk in my room instead of the kitchen because I thought a change of scenery would be interesting.

  • Watercolor on the West Coast #4

    Today I finished the last two art cards that I had previously marked out, and then decided to try another 6×6. On the art cards, I finished the two color idea  using blue and yellow – I also, unintentionally used that (for the most part) on the 6×6.

    Yesterday we were driving through Oregon and went from the mountains to the desert. I’ve never been to the desert so my reaction was a mix of “Wow!” and “how weird!” Lots of brown and relatively solitary trees. The sky was stunning even with the heavy rain.
