This time last year I was working on wedding planning and freaking out over details. Today, it’s all a (relatively…almost) distant memory and I’m sitting in our apartment with the windows open watching the weather fluctuate between rain and sun. Listening to music with my husband on our iPad and glancing at him working. I thought about taking a walk, but didn’t want to get caught in the (cold) rain so I grabbed my sketchbook and sat back down on the couch with my pencils, markers, and some freshly made iced tea and just drew. I didn’t know what I was going to draw ahead of time, but I like what I came up with.
